Plan Sheet
The Plan Sheet Screen is used to define the format of a Plan Sheet and enter its table of values.
Screen Items
  • Basic Parameters: for detailing the general layout of the Plan Sheet, as well as the specific cell format. By changing the entries here, the table display is modified below.
    • Column: area to enter the column starting value and step increment for a Plan Sheet.

      Input the lowest possible column value in the space labeled Lowest Value.

      Enter the incremental amount by which the column value should be increased for each column in the sheet in the Increase Amount field.
    • Row: area to specify the row starting value and step increment for a Plan Sheet. Note that the row entries input here are used to populate the first column of the table below.

      Input the lowest possible row value in the space labeled Lowest Value.

      Enter the incremental amount by which the row value should be increased for each row in the sheet in the Increase Amount field.
    • Cell format: for specifying the display format of the entries in the Plan Sheet.
      • Category: select the general type of numeric format to be displayed. Choose from General, Number, Currency, or Percentage.
      • Decimal Places: specify the number of decimals.
      • Use 1000 separator (,): indicate whether commas should be used.
      • Symbol: indicate whether or not a currency symbol ($) should be included.
      • Negative numbers: select how to display negative numbers.
  • Table: use this area to input the actual values in the Plan sheet. The format of the table displayed here is determined by the Basic Parameters specified above.

    Note that you can enter tables with either one or two dimensions. For a one-dimensional table, only one column or only one row is filled out. For a two-dimensional table, both multiple rows and columns are entered.
